POP UP SHOP ROCKED SECOND-HAND SEPTEMBER 2025!

We are beyond excited to share that this year Taranaki Women’s Refuge Pop Up Shop raised an incredible $118,000.00!

These funds go directly to support the mahi of Taranaki Women’s Refuge in providing crucial services to whānau impacted by domestic violence in our community.
“We are truly blown away by the outcome and support for this year’s Pop Up Shop fundraiser. The generosity of our community, businesses, volunteers, donors, shoppers with the dedication and hard work of our Pop Up team has been duly reflected by a remarkable result.  It also sends a powerful message to women and families who are experiencing domestic violence.  You are not alone, and you deserve to live a life free from violence. Every item purchased helps us provide hope for a better future — and we simply couldn’t do it without you. Thank you, Taranaki.” – Shona Smith, Taranaki Women’s Refuge Relationship Manager

VIP Night

To launch the event, we host a VIP Night—a ticketed evening that offers supporters a first look at the shop and the chance to purchase the best pieces before the doors open to the public. It’s a fun, festive occasion with drinks, music, and a strong sense of community.

Following the VIP event, the shop remains open to the public for two weeks. It’s an incredible opportunity to pick up high-quality fashion at affordable prices while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

Your support—whether through donating, shopping, or spreading the word—helps us provide safe housing, counselling, and support services for those who need it most.
