Taranaki Women’s Refuge wishes to advise our community that we have made the very difficult decision to postpone our much loved event, Deck the Rooms for Refuge.
This decision was reached amongst concerns surrounding changeable Covid levels, the impact this might have on the enjoyment of this event and the best interests of our home owners. Ultimately we want Deck the Rooms to be an enjoyable event for everyone involved.
This outcome leaves us all with very heavy hearts, Deck The Rooms has been a staple Refuge fundraiser since 2003 and it is a celebration we all look forward to. We want to acknowledge the commitment of our home owners and businesses who have supported us at every turn and committed to taking part in 2022 or as soon as we are able. We hope that you will all join us when this day comes.
